“Range officer and rules are inconsistent specifically when it comes to rifle cartridges. I have a rifle that shoots a round that was discontinued in the mid 50s and sometimes I'm allowed to shoot and other times I'm not mainly because the lack of knowledge of the range officer that just sees 30-30 headstamped on a cartridge that's been necked down and had the rim trimmed off... but if you have pistols it's a good place but the ignorance of some range officer is outstanding”
