“The weight estimate made by Chris was off by more than 40%. Hollander Moving worked with me to resolve this issue but the amount of cost adjustment should have been more. I have to give kudos to Rebecca Stryker and Melissa Harling for their patience and assistance with my move. They were both wonderful and should be promoted to senior management.”

“Ultimately, everything turned out fine except for a couple little things on my furniture and one cracked glass on a picture. The process could use a little bit more communication from the salesperson to your inside staff. I have a college degree and a law degree and I still had trouble understanding your documents and the explanations I was getting. Until the very end I was never quite sure what it was going to cost me for my move and the extended storage time. This caused me a lot of unnecessary stress to say the least. Particularly since I was unemployed and this was during covid. Anyway, everyone there was very kind and patient with me and when I had to pick up my bicycle out of storage so that I would have something to ride while looking for a house down in Florida they helped me get the bike out and some suits for a wedding I had to attend. The warehouseman that helped me with this was a real gentleman. I don't mean to be too critical with this feedback and I know a lot of it was caused by the fact that I had never used a mover before for a long distance move. Ultimately, your movers that came into my house at both ends were great and that's the most important thing. And when I gave you notice of my real estate closing date you got my furniture to me within 3 weeks, that was also a nice surprise. My father was a professional mover for over 40 years and worked for Hollander briefly in elk Grove village when we live there. I was glad I was able to use you. Warm regards.”
