“Generac 22KW residential unit installed 10/28/20: 5 stars warranty call for malfunction of unit on 11/4/20: 1 star Change of warranty management to another dealer: Owens 5 stars I was surprised to learn that 5 days following installation of the Generator, the unit failed, I called for assistance of this 5 day old $12,500 generator and was informed the service call would be $200 minimum. The fault was wiring that came dislodged during shipping and installation- this required the generator skirting to be removed, the wiring inspected, and properly connected and secured. This was squarely in the corner of Generator Authority's warranty service for which I was informed would be $200 to inspect and correct. Gregory Chase, MD”
